You have seen this face in every server you are in. Here is why it is everywhere.
Doro (Korean 도로롱, Japanese ドロロン / ドロン) is not an official character. It is what is left of Dorothy from Goddess of Victory: NIKKE after players stripped her down to her识别 features and rebuilt her as a small white creature. No story, no lines, no design document — and yet it travels further than most official mascots.
It works because Doro sits exactly where three conditions overlap: simple enough to draw in three strokes, blank enough to carry any emotion, and vague enough that people who have never played NIKKE can still use it. Here is the timeline.
Doro (Korean: 도로롱) is a fan-made meme version of Dorothy from Goddess of Victory: NIKKE — pink hair, purple eyes and a rose headpiece transplanted onto a small white four-legged blob. It is not an official character; it grew out of Korean forums around 2023 and now has a different name in every language.
If you are searching for it from somewhere else in the world, these are the terms that actually work.
| Language | Common name | Search terms |
|---|---|---|
| Chinese (Simplified) | 桃乐丝 / Doro | doro表情包 · doro图片 · 欧润吉 · 桃乐丝 |
| English | Dorothy / Doro | doro meme · doro nikke · doro party · doro party roblox |
| French | Dorothy / Doro | que veut dire doro · ça veut dire quoi doro |
On Korean boards such as DC Inside and Arca.live, players started posting edits that turned Dorothy into an animal: keep the pink hair, purple eyes and rose headpiece, replace the body with a white four-legged lump, remove the tail and every facial detail. They named it 도로롱 (Dororong), a nicknamed reading of Dorothy. It began as one reaction image and became a universal reply because it was simply too useful.
Japanese NIKKE players picked it up first, writing it as ドロロン or the shorter ドロン while still searching the character's real name ドロシー. English communities shortened it to Doro and generated the search patterns we see today: doro meme, doro nikke, nikke doro, doro party. Chinese players kept the official translation 桃乐丝 and search for Doro 表情包 or Doro 图片. One character, four names — which is exactly why its search results look so scattered.
欧润吉 (Ourenji) is a phonetic transliteration of "orange". In Chinese fan comics Doro clutches a single orange and refuses to let go, panics when someone reaches for it, and cries outright when it is taken. It is the first time the blank little creature was given something to care about, and the mix of absurdity and genuine pathos is what made the series stick.
Once a meme is big enough, people want to walk around inside it. Doro Party covers community party content — looping dance animations, group skits, and Roblox maps and avatars built by players. None of it is official, which is why searching "doro party roblox" returns player recordings and experience pages rather than a publisher site.
An official mascot has to carry a brand, respect a setting and appeal to everyone. Doro carries nothing. It can be drawn as a snake, a loaf of bread, a shadow, a walking question mark — and none of those distortions break recognition. Low barrier, high plasticity, zero explanation cost: with all three in place, the meme generates its next ten thousand versions by itself.
Neither. There is no canon species. Communities call it a pink dog or a small white creature; it has four legs, no tail and makes no sound. English speakers just say Doro.
Doro is a fan-made reinterpretation of Dorothy, not the same entity. Dorothy is the official NIKKE character with full story and official art; Doro inherits only her hair colour, eye colour and headpiece. Think of it as the player-base version of Dorothy.
Dorothy is a common English name, a brand and a film title, so intent is all over the place. For the meme, search doro meme, doro nikke or nikke doro. In Chinese use 桃乐丝 or Doro 表情包; Korean uses 도로롱; Japanese uses ドロシー or ドロロン.
Doro is not a French word — those searches come from people who saw the meme and want the meaning. It is a fan-made parody of Dorothy from NIKKE: a pink-haired white blob used as a reaction image across Korean, Japanese, Chinese and Western communities. The name is simply a shortened, softened reading of Dorothy / Dororong.
No. Doro is fan-created and has no standalone licence. NIKKE's publisher occasionally acknowledges the meme in promotional material, but Doro is not sold as its own character. Treat any "official Doro merch" listing with suspicion.
